The King County Posse

is a non-profit,

all volunteer organization

which was first started in 1941

by a group of businessmen

who practiced horsemanship

for sport and pleasure.

The King County Mounted Posse was proud to sponsor a Benefit Prize Ride on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at the beautiful and scenic Bridle Trails State Park in Kirkland, Washington.
As the only park of its kind west of the Mississippi and comprising nearly 500 acres of natural woodlands inside the city of Kirkland.,it is often called "The Wilderness in the City." Your assistance and kind donations will help keep this park's 28 miles of equestrian trails and show arenas open for many generations to come.

The Bridle Trails Park Foundation www.bridletrails.org which is a 501c3 non-profit organization was established to raise money to subsidize the operating budget of Bridle Trails State Park. The Foundation was formed in June, 2002 after annual budget reduction exercises continually brought the future of the Park into jeopardy. The Bridle Trails State Park Foundation has agreed to act in partnership with the State in funding the cost of operations of Bridle Trails State Park in exchange for their assurance that this one-of-a-kind park will remain open

50% of Prize Ride Profits will be donated to the Bridle Trails Park Foundation.
